This branch of dentistry deals with the replacement of lost teeth and associated structures. It includes fixed prosthodontics (crown and bridge), removable prosthodontics (complete dentures, acrylic and cast partial dentures) and maxillofacial prosthodontics. At the undergraduate level, we mainly focus on the removable prosthodontics with the scheme to restore the lost natural glory of the patient along with the function, aesthetics and phonetics of the patients.
