
Orthodontic Department of FMH College of Medicine and Dentistry has excellence in cosmetic dentistry that provides vibrant smile with modern braces techniques and aligners.
It deals with academic and practical teaching and training in all aspects of malocclusions and dentofacial problems. Our services include diagnosis of complex problems related to dentofacial appearance, their management with growth modification and fixed appliances using natural principles of evidence-based practices.
The goal of training program in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics is to provide students with an education of the highest quality that will enable them to offer proficient orthodontic care to their patients throughout their professional career. There are unique opportunities for the students to direct their interests into such diverse specialty areas as bone biology, growth and development, clinical orthodontics, orthognathic surgery, biomechanics, biology of tooth movement, muscle physiology, speech, and behavioral science. Students spend about 65% of their time in clinical setting.
FMH College of Medicine and Dentistry offers post graduate training program in the specialty of Orthodontics that is recognized at international level. The aim is to produce motivated Orthodontists capable of obtaining high Orthodontic standards. The fellowship program is also oriented toward preparing the student for a career in research and teaching.
Patients are treated with state-of-the-art orthodontic appliances utilizing digital technology and innovations. They are assigned to specialists’ practices to better address their needs and to make more efficient management of patient’s problems in clinical
settings.
Orthodontics Department of Fatima Memorial Hospital offers a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for cosmetic and aesthetic dentofacial problems. Our team has special expertise and will provide comprehensive specialist care to our patients.
