Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is considered one of the best centers for FCPS training. Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is a surgery to diagnose and treat diseases, injuries and defects in the head, neck, face, jaws and the hard and soft tissues of the oral and maxillofacial region. It is an internationally recognized surgical specialty. Graduates are expected to have competency to carry out simple and surgical tooth removal; assess pathologies of mouth and jaws and provide emergency management for traumatic injuries of teeth and jaws.
