The Anatomy & Histology department at FMH College of Medicine & Dentistry is continuously involved in establishing a strong basis of medical education through innovative methods of teaching/learning & research. To fulfill this aspiration, the Anatomy Department has fully air-conditioned and well-equipped dissection Hall, museum, Lecture Theater & tutorial rooms equipped with multimedia & other essential facilities. To enhance teaching/learning of the students, weekly planners & activities like lectures team-based learning (TBL), Presentations, Tutorials & small group discussion (SGD) are held. Thus provide a comfortable environment for a trinocular microscope is used for teaching small groups of students as per weekly planner for histology teaching. In addition to use of teaching microscope, a facility to project histological tissue preparation on LED TV is also available for better understanding of the details required for microscopic teaching.
