Department Of Community Medicine

Situated on the third floor, the Department of Community Medicine aims to promote primary health care and community based learning initiatives by implementing Community Oriented Medical Education (COME) Programme for all MBBS students as this will be an examination subject.

Goals:
  • Overall vision of developing the best possible graduate with qualities of a five star physician focusing on knowledge, skills and attitude development.
  • Develop scholarly activities to meet the demands of evidence based medicine.
  • Improve communication, counseling & interviewing skills targeting house hold survey and external visits.
  • Increase awareness about Global Public health issues and to deal with them by health protection, promotion & prevention
  • Faculty development to target new trends in academics & research
